Objective
Maintain customer relationships and enhance business service quality using a WhatsApp chatbot. For more information - Virtual number, smart two-way communication with your customers.
Prerequisites
Before starting, ensure:
- You have an active virtual number in your account
- Add all necessary trigger words for chatbot conversations to your settings
- Note: When sharing a virtual number between linked accounts, trigger words will work across both accounts
- Create relevant Whatsapp templates for initiating and continuing customer conversations via WhatsApp
Step-by-Step Setup Guide
1. Initial Setup
- Hover over the "Automations" menu
- Select "Create Automation"
2. Configure Message Trigger
- Drag the "Message Received" trigger
- Configure trigger words:
- Select trigger word /multiple words to initiate the chatbot
- note: you can Add new trigger words at the top of the list (save by clicking ✓)
- Option: "Any word except trigger words" - recommended for easy chatbot activation
- Click "Save"
3. Set Up "Trigger Word" Condition
- Drag the "Trigger Word" condition
- Connect the element to the previous trigger element
- Select the trigger word for the next action
- Click "Save"
- Note: Each condition can only define one word
4. Configure WhatsApp Response
- Drag the "Send WhatsApp message" action
- Connect to the previous element
- Compose your WhatsApp message
- Click "Save and return to automations"
- Click "Save"
5. Complete the Chatbot Flow
- Repeat steps 2-4 for all actions and menus offered by the chatbot
6. Activation

- A unique manager alert template containing all non-trigger word responses is available
- Add to automation by dragging the "Manager Alert" action
